I think about a lot of things while I’m in the shower. I think of cool things I was to write, things I want to say to people, song ideas, things that bug me and things that seem to be going on in the world.
A big thing that seems to be going on and has been going on for years is the new for of scary movie that involves demons, devils, spirits, and possessions. A big one that just came out was “The Devil Inside”. Of course by the name you can already tell what it’s going to be about so I usually steer clear of movies like that. But I began to think about what effects these movies have on the minds and persons that watch them.
I’m not new to scary movies. My cousins used to watch them all the time….of course they would laugh at them while I just stared at the screen hoping that they kill the monster or villain. As you would expect that night I would have a hard time sleeping being so afraid of what I saw on that screen. I couldn’t get it in my head that Chuckie wasn’t real. As I grew up it got easier to accept that those things were fake and didn’t really exist.
With today’s generation we watch the scary movies and shrug them off like they were nothing because we have grown to believe that what is on that screen is fake and made up. We say the same things to the demonic films that we watch today. We laugh them off and say that isn’t real, but in reality demons, devils, spirits, and demonic possessions are very real. It is the devils plan to cover your eyes to the movies and the tones that they offer. I mean doesn’t that sound like a plan that might actually work?
If people don’t believe in that stuff then when why would they ever try to combat that stuff? why would they guard their selves from it? They wouldn’t and this is the exact plan of the enemy. He is ok with you believing in God and living your happy little life while he does what he does as long as he can make sure that you don’t believe in him. And what a better what to do it then to sneak it in through a movie.
for example…..What are you doing to prepare yourself for an alien attack? Have you stocked food? Have you stocked guns and ammunition? Have you done anything? No?! Why not? Don’t you think we should prepare for the impending doom? Of course we aren’t because we don’t believe in aliens. If we did we would have things to protect us from them….
Idk maybe I’m just some paranoid guy that has no idea what he is saying….maybe I’m a nut…but what if I’m right? what if we are leave the doors open in our lives for an attack.
